BIKE FITTING
WHAT IS A BIKE FIT?
Bikes and people come in all shapes and sizes. Finding the perfect match between the bike and the person does not happen by accident.
A "bike fit" is the process of adjusting a bike to better fit its rider. Bikes have enough adjustability to move the key components at least a couple inches to better fit the rider. Adjustments can include the drop, reach, angle, and width of the cockpit. Of course there is the height, fore/aft position, and tilt of the saddle. Even subtle adjustments can make all the difference.
ESSENTIAL FIT $20 $100 hourly rate
This tackles the basics. Depending on the bike and its equipment, this includes setting the seat height and fore/aft adjustment as well as adjusting the handlebars and/or stem for comfort. Pricing is subject to hourly rate, with $20 being a baseline. Please call ahead to confirm a timeline for the fit.
This fit is included with new bike purchases from Bike World.
